The Valdosta State football team hits the practice fields Monday for the first day of fall camp. Like in past seasons, the Blazers will practice split squad for the first four days before holding their first full-team practice Friday, the first day teams are eligible for full-contact drills.The Blazers' first group will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday. The second group hits the field at 10:15 a.m.
Valdosta State's first scrimmage of the fall will be held Saturday, Aug. 18 at 8 a.m. The team will hold its second scrimmage Friday, Aug. 24 at 6 p.m.
The annual Meet the Blazers, which allows young fans the opportunity to interact with the players, will be held Saturday, Aug. 25 at 9 a.m. at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium.
The Blazers report to camp Saturday and will hold meetings throughout the day on Sunday before hitting the field Monday.
