Valdosta State's Gerald Ford and Quin Roberson were named Gulf South Conference Players of the Week.

A 50-yard touchdown connection from quarterback Graham Craig to Ford highlighted the day for Ford, who averaged 30.4 yards per reception.

Roberson, a 6-foot wide receiver/returner from Colquitt County High School, collected his first GSC honor of the season by being named the Special Teams Player of the Week after averaging 32.3 yards per punt return in Saturday's win. Roberson's day was highlighted by a school-record 94-yard punt return with 9:27 remaining. Roberson's 129 punt return yards ranked 10th on the all-time GSC single game list.
